Another New Year

Here it is. The New Year. Everyone’s full of hope for the coming year. That renewed enthusiasm that usually fades after January. Many authors have gotten rich off of our yearning for positive change. I’ve already admitted to my self-help obsession. 

All that said, I have my own New Year’s goals and plans. This year, I will be exploring more sustainable art-making by combining my passion for art and the saving of the environment. I bought this book last year. I don't think I’ll be making all the hand-made supplies listed in the book, but I will try some of them. 

I’m also committed to making more art. Not only that, but I plan on blogging twice per week to help me stay on track. My goal is to experiment and try new sustainable techniques. Like creating with oil paints without solvents and sculptures made from recycled materials I find at thrift stores. As with most resolutions, we’ll see how long this one lasts. 

So let’s get this party started!
