Put Some Color In It, 18"x24"
Sometimes I surprise myself. As I’m pretty sure I mentioned before, I’ve been gardening. People think that because I live in Florida, I must garden year-round. Unfortunately, during this time of year it’s just too hot for most things to grow. Peppers, especially the hot peppers, and parsley will survive.
But, I digress. I had the bright idea that I could grow herbs and sell them at farmer’s markets. Still working on that. I did, however, start a website because...you know...gotta have one. So, I got my domain name (motherfoxherbs.com), a website builder with a garden template and started editing. Starting with the Home Page.
I hadn’t worked on it in a while because, regardless of what the books tell you, it takes some time to learn how to plant and grow anything. When I did go back to work on it more I read the “about me” blurb on the front page. Here’s what it says:
I've always believed in the power of food as medicine. My father had a green thumb but I don't think anyone is born with one. First, you develop a passion for gardening then you pursue it. My aspiration is to combine my love of nature and joy of gardening with my desire for good health. Along with that is my wish to help others achieve their own best health. Herbs have been doing that for people all over the world for centuries.
I read that and thought, wow, that sounds just like what I would say. So well said! I thought it was what was written in the template. I was amazed only to remember days later that in fact, I HAD written it. Honestly, I can’t believe I’m admitting this to the whole world.
